Tree-lined avenues and quiet streets line both the neighborhoods of Rohrmoser and Pavas. Both these areas are great for the traveler just looking for a warm bed to spend the night.
Rohrmoser district is where most of ambassadors tend to live alongside a number of affluent Tico families. A very nice and posh area, there are some fine schools and restaurants located here.
Pavas is where the Tobias Bolanos Domestic Airport is located. Home of Nature Air, this small airport is within 30 minutes of the Juan Santamaria International Airport.
To reach Hotel Casa Roland San José from the International Airport, take the Interamericana highway to San Jose and at the traffic light, located at the NISSAN Car dealer, turn right and follow the Rohrmoser Boulevard for about 4 miles all the way to the end of the Boulevard and then turn South (left) one block. Of course any Airport taxi will be familar with the location of Hotel Casa Roland San José.
